Smartphone Ticket - FAQ? 

With the Smartphone-Ticket, access is now completely mobile and digital. Instead of a KeyCard, your smartphone serves as the data carrier.

What di I need?

A smartphone*, a valid Smartphone-Ticket and the Destinations App by INTERMAPS. Only one ticket can be activated per smartphone. Keep the app running in the background so that the ticket remains active.

*not all smartphones are compatible! Smartphone-Tickets are available for devices with iOS 13 or higher and Android 8 or higher. Samsung S8 and S9 devices, as well as Oppos, OnePlus, Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices are not compatible.

 

Is my smartphone compatible?

Smartphone tickets are available for devices running iOS 13 or higher, as well as Android 8 or higher. Samsung S8 and S9 devices are not compatible, nor are any Oppos, OnePlus, Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco devices.

 

Activate smartphone ticket?

If the ticket was purchased online, you will receive a booking confirmation. The ticket can be opened in various ways:

  • by clicking on the link
  • by scanning the QR code in the camera app or directly in the app
  • by automatic import via email

f purchased on site (point of sale), a purchase receipt with a QR code will be issued. This can also be scanned using the camera app or the destination app.

To use the ticket, click on ‘Activate’ and ensure that Bluetooth and GPS are enabled. The app must remain open in the background for the ticket to work. If the app is closed, the ticket will also be deactivated.

 

How does the smartphone ticket work best?

It is best to carry your smartphone in the breast pocket on the left side. Your trouser pocket is not suitable, as the reader is positioned slightly higher. If the ticket still cannot be read, we recommend turning your upper body slightly towards the reader.

 

Can I purchase multiple smartphone tickets in one order?

Yes. It is important that each QR code is scanned by a different smartphone. Only one ticket can be activated per smartphone.

Please note that each code can only be scanned once! If the ticket is deleted, the same code cannot be scanned again. If you encounter any problems, please bring your purchase receipt with QR code/booking confirmation to one of our sales outlets.

 

What should I do if I lose my smartphone?

In this case, please bring the purchase receipt with QR code or the booking confirmation to one of our sales outlets. The ticket will then be reissued on a KeyCard.

 

What should I do if my battery is dead? 

There are charging stations for smartphones in the mountain restaurants. Otherwise, please bring your purchase receipt with QR code or booking confirmation to one of our sales outlets. The ticket will be reissued on a KeyCard.

 

How much battery power does my smartphone need for the smartphone ticket per day of skiing?

Smartphones that are less than two years old consume approximately 10-20% of their battery power per day. Consumption depends on the type of smartphone. If your battery life is low, we recommend carrying a power bank with you.

 

Is mobile data required for the smartphone ticket?

No. The app only needs an internet connection for the one-time ticket download. No mobile data is required to use the ticket. The smartphone ticket also works in flight mode. Communication with the access gates works via Bluetooth technology.

 

Is mobile data required for the smartphone ticket?

No. When purchasing each ticket, you must decide which data carrier (KeyCard or smartphone) you want the ticket on. Tickets that can be used on two data carriers cannot be offered.

 

Can I use the smartphone ticket if I keep credit cards etc. in my case

It is recommended that you do not carry any other cards near your smartphone when using the smartphone ticket. This is similar to KeyCards, which also do not read optimally if other KeyCards or credit cards are stored in close proximity.
